About Kestryl

Physical visibility should be part of the inventory record.

OOH has strong systems for audiences, delivery and transactions. The physical condition of the sightline itself is not consistently recorded anywhere. Kestryl exists to hold that record.

The industry's systems stop at the panel.

Asset systems know where the panel is. Ad servers know what played. Audience measurement estimates who passed. None of them record whether the physical view of the panel is still clear, and across a large network that view changes quietly, season by season, between inspections.

Visibility is a current attribute of the asset, not an assumption.

A panel's sightline should carry a dated, evidence-backed status the same way it carries a location, a format and a rate. When it does, owners maintain better inventory, buyers book with more confidence, and the conversation between them gets easier, not harder.

An unusual intersection.

Outdoor media

How inventory is sold, booked, disputed and made good.

Geospatial verification

Deterministic geometry over aerial capture: surface, terrain and vegetation from the same survey moment.

Arboriculture

Species, growth rates and what a plane tree does to a sightline in five years.

Permits and remediation

Planning overlays, council pathways and what it actually takes to prune the tree.

Kestryl was founded in Melbourne at the intersection of outdoor media, geospatial evidence and vegetation management. A provisional patent covering the detection method was filed with IP Australia in April 2026.

Why a kestrel

The bird that holds still in moving air.

Kestrels hunt by hovering: they fix on a point on the ground and hold it, whatever the wind does. That is the product. Fix on every panel in a market, hold the watch through every season, and call the moment a sightline starts to close.
